Home made hamburgers

Home Made Hamburgers

500g beef or pork mince
1 Onion finely grated
13 tspoon ground chili
salt to taste
2 cloves garlic
1tspoon ground coriander

Topping on the rolls

Blue Cheese cut into strips or broken up

Hamburgers are always a winner, specially outdoors and it is quick and easy to prepare.

Add the mince , chopped onions, chili, egg, salt, grated garlic and coriander and mix well in a mixing bowl. Divide the mince into 4 equal parts.

If you want to make a “patty mould” , cut a ring out of a joghurt jar (I used a 500ml jar, I suggest that you cut about a third of the way down the jar)Then squeeze force the mince into the ring. Cool the patty’s down in your cooler or fridge to get them firmer. Cook on an open fire, or in your frying pan.

Half the rolls , place the rocket, blue cheese and patty on the roll, close the roll and enjoy.
